Recognizing the prevalent incongruence between mainstream and alternative medicine, IRIN seeks instead to bridge the gap between the two through embracing elements of “ancient wisdom,” while at the same time subjecting them to the rigorous scrutiny of globally recognized scientific research processes to achieve standardization and bring credibility, which allows mainstream acceptance and adoption.

In fact, a founding purpose of IRIN is stringent adherence to the scientific method in validating purported natural remedies. This creates a win-win scenario where timeless healing properties can tangibly contribute to holistic public health on a universal scale in the form of reliable supplements and treatments that fully qualify as nutraceuticals,

The core IRIN team collaborates closely with independent and institutional experts and researchers from government, private and academic agencies, notably, Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Agriculture, relevant associations and societies, and a number of top-ranked Thai universities.

Taking advantage of Thailand’s recent legitimization of medical marijuana, IRIN’s inaugural field of research is in cultivation and extraction of true medical grade cannabidiol (CBD) towards development of numerous health and wellness products with a myriad of indications, from treatment of severe neurological disorders like epilepsy, to skincare products.

Not limited to merely CBD oil application, IRIN delves deeply into researching and developing synergistic interactions between multiple herbal medicines to achieve enhanced effects optimized for specific conditions.

Expanding upon that, IRIN is actively studying another natural healing agent which is exclusively indigenous to the South-East Asian Region, known as kratom. Kratom has been shown to offer multiple health benefits and is currently in high demand in numerous countries worldwide. This is driving hyper-demand for the supplement.

It is IRIN’s imperative to focus solely upon nutraceutical remedies, and emphatically avoid any recreational or purely addictive substances or supplements. Hence we do not research THC (the main psychoactive ingredient in the cannabis) despite its ostensible therapeutic properties. Our singular aim is to research and develop medical grade nutraceuticals.
